If you still don’t know what PNC Winterfest is all about, the last calendar year must have blown right past you- so here is what you missed!
PNC Winterfest is back for year two, improving every single aspect of the winter wonderland all the way down to the weather. Last year, we brought this event to Peoria for the first time, giving people a place to skate under the stars during the holiday season. In addition to the 60×80 ft. ice rink, there was an ice slide, a concession booth, a skate shack, an entertainment stage, and a heated tent for patrons.
This year, things are laid out a bit differently to help with the flow and overall experience at PNC Winterfest. Our concession shack and skate shack share a roof under the glass arcade, along with a new walkway near the ice slide to keep it from getting muddy. The rink is bigger and better than before, complete with a top of the line drainage system to correct all of the flooding issues PNC Winterfest experienced last year.
